Overview

Broke It is a static content site. We do not run advertising networks and we do not sell your personal data. We use Google Analytics to count visits, described below. This page lists everything we collect.

Information We Collect

Server Logs

Our hosting and delivery providers record standard access logs: IP address, browser user-agent string, referring URL, the page or file requested, and the time. We use these logs for security, performance and abuse prevention, and to count traffic in aggregate (for example podcast downloads, and which automated agents and crawlers visit). Logs are kept for up to 90 days and are not shared with third parties.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) and sends usage data, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, to Google, which processes it under its own privacy policy. We use the reports only in aggregate. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Cookies

The only cookies on this site are the Google Analytics cookies described above. We set no advertising cookies.

Third-Party Services

This site is hosted on third-party infrastructure, whose privacy policy governs data collected at the infrastructure level. Apart from Google Analytics, we embed no third-party tracking pixels, advertising scripts or analytics SDKs.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To make such a request or if you have any privacy concerns, contact the site owner.
